2009
First Annual Wildcat Wildfire Pentathlon Race Rules

This event is open to first time racers and by participating you will automatically receive a one year membership to the  Friends of Tuckerman Ravine Organization ($35 value) This race is designed to be more in tune with the recreational athlete as it is challenging but not as hard core as the Inferno.

Registration for this race will begin at midnight, January  1st, 2009 and will continue until that magic number of 15 Teams ( comprised of five men and women), 10 Wildmen (one man doing all five legs of race) and 10 Wildwomen (one woman doing all five legs of race).  With this new endeavor for FOTR and Wildcat Mountain we have decided to add a trial Ski Club division to the mix this year. 5 Ski Club Teams  will be allowed to sign up comprised of five members of their individual clubs. The fee for all five person teams  will be $375 ($75 per person).  Wildwomen and Wildmen registration fees will be $100.

All racers must have completed their registration, release forms and have their fees paid in full before receiving their bib at the registration party night at Eastern Slope Inn and Flatbreads which starts at 5PM on April 17th, 2009. The goodie bags and bibs may be picked up by others only if the above requirements have been met in advance. For those late comers, your bags will be available from 5-9 in the Legend Room at the Eastern Slope Inn and at the front desk after 9Pm that night. Any bags not picked up will be transferred Storyland to a registration table at the starting gate of the race. The race starts promptly at 8AM and will end at the Den at Wildcat Mountain.
Awards and dinner for both events will be held at Wildcat Base Lodge starting at 5PM.
