JACKSON - Esteemed climbing guide and author Mark Synnott of Jackson and U.S. Forest Service Snow Ranger Chris Joosen will be the featured speakers at the non-profit Friends of Tuckerman's gala dinner, silent auction and awards ceremony Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Red Fox Bar and Grille on Route 16 in Jackson.
Synnott will present a slide show on his many climbing first ascents, and Joosen will discuss the snow ranger program in Tuckerman Ravine
