Dave Esty |
Dave Esty spent most of his career in NYC in
the marketing-communications business, rising from the corporate officer
ranks of the world's largest advertising agency to CEO-ships of several
advertising and media companies. His +30 years of Who's Who in America
listing mention a number of board memberships in corporate for-profits as
well as 501c3 non-profits, including three decades of service on the board
of The Advertising Council. In the last several years, he has
resigned/retired from all corporate board posts other than co-operating a
Seattle-based company with one of his sons. He led the Amherst College Class of 1954 for
over 50 years and has been honored with the college's Distinguished Service
Award. A long-standing National Ski patroller, he was one of
the early recipients of its Distinguished Service Awards. He and his wife,
Betsy, live in Waitsfield VT and six offspring and their families
who live in Waitsfield, Palm Beach and Seattle. He is a descendent of Edward
Tuckerman, the Amherst College botany professor for whom the ravine is
named. |
