2009
Inferno Pentathlon Race Rules
By
being a member of FOTR 2009 you receive priority. Members of FOTR may
sign up and reserve their spot in the races beginning on November 20th,
2008! Registration for reserved members will start on January 1st, 2009
and run until midnight January 31st. After that it will be open to ALL
on a first come basis until the magic number of 30 regular teams, 15 all
female, 20 Tuckermen, 20 Tuckerwomen and 15 Dynamic Duos has been
reached.
Membership is no longer part
of your registration fee. If you are now a member because you
raced last year, by paying your membership fee it will extend you
membership until November of 2009. After acceptance, you may also
be certified by contacting FORT at 603-367-4417 and set up a time to
make a run at a mountain that is open top to bottom with an examiner.
Each person must pay their non-refundable membership fee of $35 prior
to or when making your reservation. Registration fees for five person
teams remain at $100 per person. Tuckermen/Tuckerwomen registration
fees will be $120 (plus $25 for equipment transfer charges if you do not
have a support person). Dynamic Duo Teams are $240.
Only certified Mount Washington Skiers are eligible to participate in
the Inferno. The certified list will be racers who have competed in
prior years and you must be matched to that list before being accepted.
All racers must have completed their registration, releases form and
have their fees paid in full before receiving their bib at the
registration party night at Eastern Slope Inn and Flatbreads which
starts at 5PM on April 17th, 2009. The goodie bags and bibs may be
picked up by others only if the above requirements have been met in
advance. For those late comers, your bags will be available from 5-9 in
the Legend Room at the Eastern Slope Inn and at the front desk after 9Pm
that night. Any bags not picked up will be transferred Storyland to a
registration table at the starting gate of the race. The race starts
promptly at 7AM
